Occasionally, there may be some awkward incidents – ones that don’t have a definitive ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to be handled.

A recent survey asked nearly 3,000 Americans how they would handle certain uncomfortable, yet fairly common, travel dilemmas.

One of the questions from the survey was... "What would you do if a family asked you to give up your seat so they could sit together?"

About 45-percent of participants said they'd do it regardless. But, 34-percent said they would move *only if the new seat wasn't a middle seat.
