Sweet Summer Camp turns Kids into Chocolatiers: There are summer camps dedicated to just about everything, from science camps to sports camps to theatre camps. But only one Metro Atlanta summer programs lets kids roll up their sleeves and dive right in to the wonderful world of chocolate!
Peterbrooke Chocolatier at the Forum in Norcross is offering one-day Chocolatier Camp sessions through August 10th, giving kids the chance to learn about chocolate making, dipping, coloring, and...eating! Sessions are held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and are open to any eight years of age and older. Cost for the camp is $50 per person. Peterbrooke Chocolatier at the Forum, by the way, opened back in 2009 and serves up handmade chocolates along with coffee, blended drinks, and gelato.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken heard the words "chocolate camp" and immediately jumped in the FOX 5 news van and headed to Norcross. He spend the morning getting in on action and learning what it takes to be a true chocolatier.
