Kid chefs to compete for top salsa award: More than 15 Boys & Girls Clubs are competing in a friendly salsa event in Piedmont Park - take a look at the recipe featured on Good Day Tuesday morning:

Pineapple/Mango Jalapeno Salsa

  • 4 cups pineapple
  • 3 cups of mangos
  • 4 cups tomato
  • 1 cup of onion
  • 1 cup of jalapeno with seeds
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • Teaspoon of basil
  • Pinch of lemon/lime
  • Pinch of salt/pepper
  1. Gather all ingredients
  2. Gather 4 knives
  3. Cut the fruits into small square pieces
  4. Cut the jalapenos and add a little bit of the seeds
  5. Take apart the herbs
  6. Cut the lemon/lime in half
  7. Add the pineapples
  8. Add the mangos 
  9. Add the tomatoes
  10. Add the jalapenos
  11. Add basil
  12. Add cilantro
  13. Squeeze the lemon/lime juice on top of it
  14. Mix the salt and pepper inside
