Hard Rock Cafe's Best Bartenders Compete In BARocker Regionals
Tom Cruise made it look cool back in the 1988 film Cocktail -- and now, the showmanship of bartending will be on full-display at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta.
Hard Rock's third annual BARocker regional finals will take place here in Atlanta on Thursday, January 7th, from 6 to 10 p.m. The annual competition pits bartenders from Hard Rock Cafe locations against each other in a battle of showmanship and flair. Bartenders from the southeast will be represented Thursday night, judged on various elements including recipe knowledge, accuracy, and speed. The winner will be flown to Orlando for Hard Rock’s annual Global Conference, where he or she will compete in the worldwide finals. Along with being a lot of fun to watch, the regional competition also supports a great cause -- Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta is partnering with The Giving Kitchen, which provides help to Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta -- and did his best to channel Tom Cruise (and not break any bottles!).
