Atlanta - Soccer Camp Serves Men And Women Who Served Our Country: It's something that's never been done before -- a soccer camp specifically for injured military personnel and ex-service veterans who might just have what it takes to compete internationally.
Atlanta-based BlazeSports partnered with the U.S. Soccer Federation and U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs for the VA Paralympic Soccer Camp, held last week on the campus of Oglethorpe University. Athletes attending the camp spend six days practicing soccer skills under the watchful eyes of U.S. Soccer coaches, who are looking for a few good men to compete on the Paralympic National Soccer Team. BlazeSports is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changes the lives of men, women, and children with physical disabilities through sport.
