Dancing into a healthier 2019 with Vibe Fitness

It’s a problem that many run into every single year: We make a resolution to get fit…but just don’t have fun working out. But instructors at one Atlanta-based fitness company say there’s an easy fix – have such a blast that you never even realize you’re losing weight!

That’s the philosophy behind Vibe Fitness, Inc., which was founded by Atlanta’s Ally Ponte in 2013 as a way to help people reach their fitness goals through various types of dance.  With a background as both a personal trainer and choreographer, Ponte created Vibe Fitness to train instructors around the world on how to use dance fitness as a way to get people moving in a fun and healthy way.

There are several different Vibe formats, including Club Vibe (a 60-minute high-energy cardio workout), Vibe Smash (think full-on music video dancing!), and Vibe Lite, which is specifically designed for active aging adults.  Classes are taught at several locations around the Metro Atlanta area, and more information can be found on the Vibe Fitness Facebook page here.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken is always looking for a way to get healthier (you know how much he eats on live TV), and he’s also never turned down a chance to dance in front of a camera.  So he spent the morning with the Vibe crew in Johns Creek, learning more about the Vibe Fitness lifestyle and learning a few new moves!
