Former University of Georgia football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley told Fox 5 he was surprised to learn that Mark Richt is stepping down from the head coaching job. "I was somewhat surprised to read what was evidently mutually agreed upon," said Dooley, "and if that is the case then I'm happy for the University and I'm especially happy for Mark Richt."
