Warming centers open as temperatures drop in Atlanta
ATLANTA - The city of Atlanta Office of Constituent Services and Department of Parks and Recreation has determined, based on current frigid temperatures, that the Old Adamsville Recreation Center will open tonight, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. as an emergency overflow shelter for those in need.
Capacity limitations at Old Adamsville allows for 100 individuals (men, women and children), to occupy the facility.
