Nearly 200 people in Hapeville were without power right Friday night after a tree came down and took down power lines with it.

The tree fell Friday afternoon on North Avenue at North Fulton Avenue.

It didn't do much damage to nearby houses and no one was hurt, but it did take out some power lines.

Georgia Power said about 178 of its customers were left in the dark.

Crews were working throughout the night and got the lights back on sometime before midnight.

It was not immediately known if the winds on Friday were responsible for the fall.
