Remembering the victims of child abuse in Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A somber service Friday to honoring any and all children who've fallen victim or lost their lives to child abuse.

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy in Fulton County hosted a memorial service for victims around the world.

Organizers raised a memorial flag and read victims' names aloud before attendees added to the Pinwheels for Prevention garden.

The center has worked to prevent and stop child abuse for more than three decades.

Officials said they also offer training for adults across Georgia to recognize existing abuse and what to do about it.
