Protect your ID after Chipotle data breach

The food chain Chipotle has had a time of it.  After recovering from last year's food scare, it just announced a data breach. And it impacts a lot of metro Atlanta restaurants.

If you eat at Chipotle, you will have to think back to when you were there last.  Here are the dates to remember March 24 to April 18. If you visited a Chipotle restaurant between these dates and paid with a credit or debit card, then you need to read on.

Their system got infected with malware that potentially got hold of detailed card information like the name on the card, the card's number, expiration date and verification code.  The restaurant chain figured it out quickly and got the word out fast, too.  But now it's your turn to take action.

First, think back to which Chipotle you visited. Here's a link to check out all of the restaurants in our area and across the state that are impacted by this data breach.
