Police are looking for a pair of men who held a construction worker at gunpoint in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.

The crime happened Monday afternoon around 2 p.m. on Virginia Circle.

According to Atlanta Police, the worker was on his lunch break when a stranger started rambling through tools in the back of his truck.

The two then started to struggle over a power tool when a gunman showed up and demanded the worker to drop the item. The two men then ran away, got into a dark grey Infiniti and sped off.

FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell spoke with the victim who agreed to go on camera but withheld his name. He said the men were dressed as construction workers, fooling him at first.

"At first, I thought it was one of my co-workers until I realized we don't wear orange vests, we wear yellow vests," he said.

He also said he was shocked that the crime occurred in the middle of the day in a relatively safe area.

"We are in a residential [area]. It is kind of crazy how they pulled up, broad day," he told Mitchell.
