DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities were busy during the afternoon rush Tuesday trying to clear one of the ramps at Interstate 285 and Interstate 20 interchange after a tractor trailer overturned causing a chemical spill.
DeKalb County officials said a truck carrying some sort of plastic chemical overturned on the ramp from southbound I-285 to eastbound I-20.
SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around 5:45 p.m. and found crews working to clean up the spill. All lanes of traffic are shutdown.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said they worked well into the evening to clean up the mess.
