Officials: Boston murder suspect arrested in Georgia

Clayton County Police have arrested a man suspected of two murders in Boston.

Officials say the initial incident happened in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston on June 30, 2018. Police were called to the scene and found two men dead from gunshot wounds.

After an investigation, police identified the shooter as Nicholas Antoine.

Months later the Clayton County Sheriff says deputies and members of the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Antoine and his girlfriend, Latifa Brown, at a home in Hampton.

Antoine was charged with two counts of murder, ammunition with an FID card, having a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and carrying a firearm without a license.

The sheriff says Brown was also wanted by the Stone Mountain Police Department for violating probation on a traffic offense.

Both suspects are now in the Clayton County Jail awaiting extradition.
