Newton County deputy passes away
NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Newton County Sheriff’s Office has passed along some sad news. A sheriff's deputy, injured in a serious accident two weeks ago has passed away.
Deputy Justin White lost control of his cruiser while responding to an emergency call.
He’s been in the hospital since the crash on October 30.
Sheriff Ezell Brown issued the following statement Tuesday afternoon:
“It is with my deepest sorrow to inform the community that Deputy Justin White succumbed to his injuries earlier this morning. During his tenure with the sheriff's office, he was a great asset and his presence will be sorely missed.”
No word on funeral services.
