Newnan robbery suspect arrested, second suspect found dead

NEWNAN, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - One man is dead and another in jail after an armed robbery and assault.

Newnan Police say Malenko Cooley and Marquavious Harris got in a fight with a man at the Newnan Crossing apartments early Sunday morning.

Police say while Cooley was fighting the man, Harris shot him multiple times.

Officers found Cooley's body two days later in a car in LaGrange.

He'd been shot.

Harris later turned himself in to police.
