The video is comical. Scenes you can see on the news of a thief trying to puncture store glass in order to make entry and steal stuff.

It's likely that retailer has made an anti-theft investment. What is it? It's a protective film about the width of a credit card that can be placed onto a glass making it difficult to penetrate.

A thief can shatter the glass, but the film will hold that glass in place just long enough to slow the crook down.

Atlanta police said the results that can be gained from the extra protection were shown recently in Buckhead.

Thieves went after goods at two posh shops. They got into one and took more than $50,000 worth of goods.

But they did not get into Gucci, which had installed the special glass.
