Man sentenced for 1986 double rape, murder case in Cobb County

More than 30 years after a mother and her 13-year-old daughter were raped and murdered in their Marietta home, the man responsible is finally going to prison.

Ronald Kyles admitted to killing Sharon Brady and her daughter Samantha in 1986.

Kyles lived two doors down from the Bradys.

Kyles was serving time in a Pennsylvania state prison on an unrelated aggravated assault conviction in 2015 when DNA evidence linked him to the double murder.

On Friday, Kyles pleaded guilty to the crimes. A judge gave him two life sentences.
