Large scale Comcast outages resolved

ATLANTA - Large scale Comcast outages were reported in Atlanta and other parts of the country Monday. The cable and internet provider said they have since restored all services.

Outage website DownDetector.com showed customers were affected in Atlanta, Florida, Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and several other big markets. 

Comcast released the following statement:

“We have repaired the temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning.  Our engineers continue to work on this issue and almost all services have already been restored.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers.”

While some internet outages were reported, the majority of reports appear to center around cable channels being unavailable.
