Inconspicuous thieves hit a kid’s consignment store and it was all caught on video. Employees said the crooks posed as customers as they swiped the already-discounted clothing.

It happened a little before 7 p.m. Wednesday night at Once Upon a Child in Lawrenceville. Katelyn Johnson said she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw this surveillance video. She said these people posing as customers were blatantly stealing secondhand infant clothing while cameras rolled.

Both employees and owners said four people walked into the store. They said two took turns as lookouts as the other two women spent most of their time in in the infant clothing aisle doing this.

Sales associate Princess Ekezie was working Wednesday night. She said it was a slow night and just before closing they were tidying and cleaning up when they noticed something was off.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police.
