Balenciaga blasted for cultural appropriation over sweatpants

A prominent fashion designer behind a pricey pair of sweatpants is being accused of racist sales tactics.

The gray Balenciaga sweatpants, which are marked at nearly $1,200, feature what looks like the top of a pair of boxers peeking out from the waistband.

It sparked controversy after a TikTok user posted a brief video on Sept. 2 of the pants at a store.
