Air quality testing set to start after concerns of ethylene oxide

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The Fulton County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to partner with the city of Smyrna to hire GHD Services to do air quality testing.

This comes after resident concerns about emissions of ethylene oxide from Sterigenics facilities in both Fulton County and neighboring Cobb County.

The county hopes the tests will help officials understand where conditions are, regarding the concentration of ethylene oxide near the Fulton County facility.
