Police: Man shot while impersonating officer at NW Atlanta apartments

A 22-year-old man, Jaron Jordan, is facing charges after being shot while allegedly impersonating a police officer during a home invasion attempt in Northwest Atlanta. Atlanta police say Jordan tried to force his way into an apartment on James Jackson Parkway while claiming to be an officer, leading the resident to fire through the door. Jordan is charged with impersonating an officer, criminal trespass, and loitering.
