Bondi clashes with lawmakers over 'sloppy' Epstein file redactions

Attorney General Pam Bondi faced a combative House Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday as lawmakers on both sides of the aisle slammed the Justice Department’s handling of the "Epstein files." While Bondi defended the release of over 3.5 million documents, she was pressed on why the identities of potential co-conspirators were initially obscured while victims' private information was exposed. The hearing follows a week of mounting pressure, including calls for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick’s resignation after he admitted to visiting Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in 2012.
