Georgia Works opens new women’s homeless facility
Georgia Works, a local nonprofit fighting homelessness since 2013, has opened a new women-only facility. Darlene Schultz spoke with our team about the expansion, which provides safe housing and support programs for women in need. The ribbon-cutting on 12/03/25 marks a major step in helping Georgia’s homeless population. Donations can be made at GeorgiaWorks.net or in person at 232 E Lake Drive Decatur, GA 30030
