Congratulations to our High 5 Sports Team of the Week ? the Lithonia Bulldogs. Head Coach Kevin Barnes led his squad to a 5-0 start, making them the last undefeated team in DeKalb County. Their first loss came last night against Southwest DeKalb, but highlights include snapping a 12-game losing streak to rival Tucker earlier this season.

They celebrated Thursday morning with Paul Milliken live on Good Day Atlanta. Then last night, Jackson County improved to 5-1 with a win over Alcovy. And earlier this year, the Panthers made history by beating rival Clarke County for the first time ever.

After securing their first-ever victory against cross-town rivals Newnan, Northgate High School has earned the title of Team of the Week. Under the leadership of Kevin Whitley, the team kicked off the season with a perfect 4-0 record and celebrated with a Thursday morning pep rally broadcast live on Good Day Atlanta. The pep rallies for the first three Teams of the Week have been nothing short of spectacular. Northgate is setting its sights on the playoffs and is well on its way to achieving that goal.
