Video: Hit & run investigation turns into heated dispute

Louisiana police release body camera video of a hit and run investigation that turned into a heated altercation.

Police said they got a call about a hit-and-run on Saturday. Officers later found the car that was involved, parked at a nearby home. Police went to question the people inside.

Officers said Lybeth Hardy and her 15-year-old son answered the door, but would not answer any questions.

Hardy claims police acted aggressively.

The scene eventually escalated with members of the neighborhood gathering around hardy's home.

Police eventually used pepper spray in order to keep people away.

Police said hardy's son picked up a large fishing pole and struck an officer repeatedly.
