Study: Men with beards have more germs than dogs

Listen up bearded men and the women who love those furry faces.

A new study says men's beards are loaded with way more bacteria, and even bugs, than dogs have in their fur.

The study compared men and dogs for bacteria and found that all the bearded men studied had high amounts of germs in their beards.

Seven of the men tested had a high enough count to be considered a threat to human health.

This study comes after a different study by the Journal of Evolutionary Biology that found women find men with beards to be more attractive than clean-shaven faces for long-term relationships.
