Oakwood Police are investigating two thefts, both involving black males. A "quick change" robbery was committed at Firehouse Subs, with the suspects defrauding the cashier of $50 cash. This happened around 8:30 p.m. on January 14.

The first suspect is partially bald, with a small amount of light grey hair. He is in his late 40's or 50's and approximately 5' 09" to 6' tall, and weight about 185-200 pounds.

The second suspect is also partially bald, with more grey hair and a stature similar to the first suspect.

February 25, the second suspect entered Subway and defrauded the cashier of $150 cash, around 7:30 p.m.

There is no information on the suspects' vehicle.

Officers are asking local and nearby restaurants to be on the look out for similar quick change scammers. They also say do not make contact with these men. Call 911.

According to crime stoppers websites, a quick change scam is when someone targets a cashier and pays for low priced items with a large bill. Before the cashier can give back change, the suspect will confuse the cashier with a series of quick money exchanges.
