Chase Chrisley refutes claims he slapped Buckhead bar manager; 911 call tells a different story

A representative for reality TV personality Chase Chrisley has denied allegations that the 28-year-old assaulted a manager at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Atlanta on January 6. The incident, which allegedly occurred after Chrisley refused to leave the establishment, has been described by his representative as being "blown out of proportion."

Chrisley, known for his role on the reality show Chrisley Knows Best, is accused of slapping the restaurant’s manager twice, including once while the manager was on the phone with a 911 operator. According to an Atlanta police report, Chrisley appeared highly intoxicated and became belligerent after being asked multiple times to leave.

"I’m trying to ask him to leave. He’s being a little aggressive, and he actually assaulted me," the manager told the 911 operator. Audio from the call, released by authorities, appeared to capture the alleged assault with the employee telling the 911 operator he was slapped in the face again.

Adam Ambrose, a representative for Chrisley, issued a statement on Monday disputing the claims. "Chase Chrisley had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home," Ambrose said. "He did not assault anyone. Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave."

The police report, however, provides a conflicting account. The manager described Chrisley as "very disrespectful and belligerent," refusing to leave and escalating his behavior, which allegedly culminated in the slaps. The manager declined medical attention and reported no injuries, telling officers the incident was captured on the restaurant’s security cameras.

Chrisley left the scene with his driver before the police arrived. He was later arrested on suspicion of simple battery and released on a $10,000 bond on January 11.

The incident comes as Chrisley’s family continues to face legal challenges. His parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are currently serving federal prison sentences for financial crimes. The couple, convicted in 2022 of defrauding banks and evading taxes, is serving a combined 19 years behind bars.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the Jan. 6 incident.
