Pedestrian struck in Cobb County
MARIETTA, Ga. - A pedestrian was stuck on Windy Hill Road at the Callaway Bridge on Thursday morning.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, a car pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway and a female passenger exited the vehicle. The female then walked into the right hand lane of travel, where she was struck by another vehicle.
The female was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials are not sure of the extent of the female’s injuries.
