An Indiana woman shared a heartwarming post on Facebook after her family brought a high school graduation to her father’s hospital bedside as he battles cancer.

“He has cancer and he’s a tough fighter,” Heaven Bailey said about her father, Jack Bailey.

Mr. Bailey was admitted to Baptist Health Floyd hospital on May 19, and recently learned he wouldn’t be able to attend his daughter’s graduation this weekend.

“We were super excited, and we were praying that dad could make it to her graduation, even if that meant we had to wheel him in a wheelchair,” Heaven said.

Heaven said when they learned her dad couldn’t attend Hollie’s graduation at Floyd Central High on Sunday, they decided to bring the commencement ceremony to him.

The school agreed and helped the Bailey family surprise their dad at the hospital.

“It was a blessing for all of us to witness such a magical moment,” Heaven said.

Heaven’s Facebook post is gaining a lot of attention on Facebook, garnering more than 3,000 likes.
