Video shows woman shooting at officers during high-speed chase in stolen car

A wild chase ended with a crash, shooting and two arrests in Clayton County Monday evening.

Newly released dash cam video shows the passenger in that chase hanging out of the window to shoot at officers.

What we know:

The shooting took place in Jonesboro Monday night, but officials say it began with a traffic stop in Fayette County.

Deputies there tried to pull over the driver of a stolen black Jeep with Michigan plates on State Route 85. Instead, the driver led them on a chase through multiple jurisdictions, involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Officials say the driver reached speeds of up to 100 mph at points.

Throughout the pursuit, deputies say the driver's passenger fired shots at them and caused damage to at least two cars – a patrol vehicle and a bystander's car.

Eventually, the pair rear-ended a Cadillac Escalade and a Honda Accord at the intersection of Highway 19-41 and Winding Way Lane in Clayton County.

The two were arrested. A female passenger was taken into custody at the scene. The male driver, who had been shot by the responding deputies, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

None of the deputies from Fayette and Clayton counties were injured during the ordeal.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has opened its own investigation.

Maiya Gulley charged in wild chase

Gulley has been charged with aggravated assault on a public safety officer, possession of a firearm during a crime, party to a crime, obstruction, firearm discharge near a highway and reckless conduct.

She's being held in the Clayton County Jail without bond.
