Brothers who attacked parents sentenced to 20 years in prison
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A judge has sentenced two brothers who attacked their parents inside their family's Gwinnett County home to 20 years in prison each.
Cameron and Christopher Ervin pleaded guilty to several charges, including kidnapping and aggravated assault. They dragged and and then attacked their parents in September of last year.
Authorities said the siblings also turned on the fireplace gas and lit a candle, hoping to blow up the house.
Both parents survived the attack. The brothers were 17 and 20 at the time.
