Brookhaven shopping district receives bomb threat

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Police had to evacuate several shops in Brookhaven on Sunday morning after a reported threat.

It happened on Town Boulevard. Brookhaven Police said a business received a fax message stating there was a bomb in the building.

Officers evacuated the area while a special team was sent in to investigate.

A bomb-sniffing dog was also used to search the area.

No suspicious device was a found and the all-clear was given a few hours later.
