West Georgia Set for One of Biggest Home Games in Team History

The second-ranked West Georgia Wolves are expecting a great crowd as they face off with conference rival North Alabama on Saturday. Both teams are undefeated in the Gulf South Conference and the winner takes control of winning the league's regular season title.

"[The season is] going really well," said Wolves defensive end Alex Armah, the team leader with 7 sacks. "Just having fun on the field with my brothers. We came together good as a team over the summer. Things are working out pretty well."

UWG head coach Will Hall played college football at North Alabama. His current team is 7-0 and says this is the kind of opportunity he envisioned when he took over the program in November of 2013.

"We've done what we're supposed to do up to this point," said Hall. "Got a big one this weekend. Should be a whole lot of fun. This is what we've been building towards since we got here, playing a game like this at home. We're all excited about it."

Kickoff is Saturday at 2 p.m. from University Stadium.
