COBB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - McEachern's Kyle Hockman has resigned and is leaving to take a job at New Hampstead School in Chatham County in the Savannah area. That is an AAAAA school.
Hockman spent 11 years at McEachern after succeeding coaching legend Jimmy Dorsey, leading the Indians to seven top-10 finishes in the state.
A search is underway for his successor.
Multiple sources have told HIGH 5 Sports Andy Dorsey is the odds on favorite to succeed his father, Jimmy Dorsey as the school's athletic director when that announcement is made next month.
