Seth Stapleton's 'Pancake Block'

The last thing Morgan County football player Seth Stapleton said to his friend Max Wadsworth before he died in a tragic car accident early Saturday morning was, "Watch the highlights and see my pancake block on the first play."

The Bulldogs lost the game to Oconee County, but Trey Chapman's 88-yard touchdown wouldn't have been possible without big #71's lead block.

Wadsworth has known Stapleton since kindergarten. Monday, Max and the rest of the MOCO faithful said goodbye to their friend at a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church in Madison.

We pay tribute to a member of the High 5 Sports family taken way too early. Here's Seth's pancake block front-and-center on the local news...like he said, "Watch the highlights..." ‪#‎SethStrong‬
