Pair of Local College Teams Stay Undefeated

CARROLLTON and WALESKA - Both the West Georgia Wolves and Reinhardt Eagles took down ranked opponents to stay undefeated for the season.
West Georgia, ranked #2 in NCAA Division II, beat 13th ranked North Alabama 31-10 at University Stadium on Saturday to improve to 7-0 on the season. Wheeler High School alum Devontae Jackson ran for a pair of touchdowns as the Wolves racked up 383 yards rushing. West Georgia travels to Mississippi College next Saturday.
The Reinhardt University Eagles, ranked #7 in the NAIA, beat top-ranked Lindsey Wilson 42-24 at Ken White Field. Running back Niagel Curtis rushed for a program-record five touchdowns and the Eagles never trailed in their 8th straight win. Reinhardt is on a bye next week before facing Campbellsville Nov. 7 in Campbellsville, Ky.
