Lanier High School's Derrick Brown picks Auburn

SUGAR HILL - After much speculation, the state of Georgia's top player decided to head west to play college football. Lanier High School defensive lineman Derrick Brown, widely seen by recruiting services as the top senior high school football player in the state, committed to Auburn on Wednesday. He held a National Signing Day ceremony in his school's library.
