Here are some of the highlights:

Starting with the big boys in Class A, those are based on power ranking which will be released by the GHSA on Sunday. The bracket expanded this year, so there is no bye week any more.

In Class AA, a big win by Rabun County who went undefeated this season and took the one seat.

Banks County beat Elbert County to go on to the first round. They will be at home against KIPP Atlanta.

Hapeville Charters is in its fifth years of football, but they are region champions and have made it into round one. They host Monticello.

Class AAA has some great games coming up. Dawson County lost to GAC in the region title game, but they will still host Lovett, who has been ranked in the top 10 all year.

Speaking of GAC, they are expected to host Pace, who are the defending state champions. It feels like a final four matchup, but in the first round.

Turning to Class AAAA, St. Pius X went 2-8 this season, but snuck into the playoffs. They will take a long trip to Ridgeland. The battle-tested Golden Lions just might able to do it because it would be a long road back if not.

Sandy Creek at Marist is another amazing first round game.

Pickens will head to Jefferson. The Dragons are region champions.

Cartersville, who played in the last Game of the Week in the regular season, will host Chestatee.

Class AAAAA, in Region 6, a three-way tie between Banneker, North Springs and Riverwood. They are all fighting for two spots.

Clarke Central at Carver-Atlanta is set.

In Class AAAAAA, Tucker takes the championship in Region 4. They will host the Bradwell Institute.

Allatoona heads to Lanier, Jonesboro travels to Glyn Academy, and Hughes will play region champions Johns Creek.

Northgate is at Centennial and Alpharetta battles Alexander.

Sequoyah, may be a spoiler, but they head to Dacula.

Class AAAAAAA has some powerhouse matchups.

Wheeler will head to Cherokee next week. Pebblebrook faces Roswell. North Cobb will host Tift County. Hillgrove hits the road to Lowndes. Lassiter and Westlake will matchup.

A huge game in Norcross as the region champs host Milton.

And we have to mention the Mighty McEachern being region champions.
