Hawks recognized for NBA Partnership of the year

The Atlanta Hawks announced Wednesday the organization earned the NBA Partnership of the Year award for their partnership with jersey patch sponsor, Sharecare.

During the 2017-2018 NBA season the Hawks teamed up with Sharecare to launch the "Sharecare Movement", aimed at making Atlanta and Georgia among the healthiest places to live in the country.

In a statement Jeff Arnold, Sharecare founder and CEO, and Atlanta Hawks season ticket holder said: 

"Through the Sharecare Movement, we've created a blueprint for change, and we look forward to building on its success to help everyone - regardless of which team they root for - live their healthiest, happiest lives, no matter where they are in their health journey. We are honored that the NBA has recognized our ability to deliver on that promise.”   

 

The Atlanta-based company was founded in 2010 by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz, Sharecare is a digital health company that focuses on helping individuals manage all aspects of their health in one place.

 

In 2017 the Hawks announced they reached a deal with Sharecare to become the team's official jersey sponsor. 

 

The Hawks said they are more plans for the partnership set for the upcoming season including free seats for fans in the soon to come Sharecare section and healthy food choice offerings in Philips Arena.
