Gwinnett County Schools unveils Georgia's first ladies flag-football league
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - It was a big milestone Wednesday for Gwinnett County High Schools.
The school district has introduced the state's first-ever girls flag football league.
The district teamed up with the Atlanta Falcons in making the league possible.
Each high school in the county will have a team and each team will play 14 games over the course of a season with a tournament at the end.
The Falcons will cover the cost of the league.
At the end of the year, the Falcons will bring the winning teams to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and let them play on the field.
