It was a big milestone Wednesday for Gwinnett County High Schools.

The school district has introduced the state's first-ever girls flag football league.

The district teamed up with the Atlanta Falcons in making the league possible.

Each high school in the county will have a team and each team will play 14 games over the course of a season with a tournament at the end.

The Falcons will cover the cost of the league.

At the end of the year, the Falcons will bring the winning teams to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and let them play on the field.
