The High 5 Sports Game of the Week heads to The Fortress at Centennial High School this Friday as the Roswell Hornets take on the Centennial Knights for the right take home the Roswell Mayor's Cup.
And in an unusual twist, first-year Centennial head coach Shane Sams broke the news to his team with a sign made by his 2-year-old son Barrett. Coach Sams lifted little Barrett, nicknamed "Bear", up in the air holding the sign which read: "Our game is the High 5 Sports Game of the Week." Barrett's mom Kylie may have pitched in on the design, but we promise little Barrett's tiny hands were the force behind the informational artwork.
Centennial lost their opener on the road against highly-ranked Northside Warner Robins, the school where Sams served as offensive coordinator before taking over the head job for the Knights. Centennial returns home to face cross-town rival Roswell who shut out Campbell 35-0 last week.
FOX 5 Sports will be on campus Friday for live reports beginning at 5, capping off the coverage with Bill Hartman's full game report on The Big Show at 11.
