ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are investigating after a reported stabbing on Peachtree Place NE near the Midtown MARTA station on Friday afternoon.
What we know:
MARTA Police officers were flagged down around 2:08 p.m. regarding a reported stabbing near the Midtown MARTA station.
A MARTA spokesperson confirmed the incident did not take place on MARTA property.
The Atlanta Police Department took over the investigation and confirmed officers responded near the station on Peachtree Place NE.
Police said officers are investigating two people who may have been stabbed.
Both victims were awake and alert, according to police.
A FOX 5 photojournalist at the scene saw several Atlanta Police patrol cars and officers on scene investigating on Peachtree Place NE, near the station.
