Atlanta set to host Super Bowl LIII next year

Now that Super Bowl LII is in the history books, Atlanta is set to take the reigns for next year. 

Monday, the Super Bowl committee was in Minneapolis and hosted a news conference to handoff the Super Bowl from Minnesota to Atlanta. 

Atlanta will host Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on February 3, 2019. 

Falcons President and CEO Rich McKay and Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms were on hand for Monday's announcement.
