What happened to Delta's old uniforms?

Delta Airlines announced plans to repurpose thousands of old uniforms.

Back in May, Delta introduced new employee uniforms, retiring more than a million items of clothing.

Rather than sending them all to a landfill the company decided to "up-cycle" them into a variety of limited edition products from tote bags to pillows.

The company said it's important for them to ensure that the old items go back into the community.

The products in the new Delta collection will be available for purchase in October.

The company said its non-branded items will also be recycled.

They'll be transformed into insulation and stuffing or donated to charity.
