Warrants: Hall County man pushed witness down stairs

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A Hall County man has been arrested for assaulting a woman to keep her from testifying in another assault case against him.

Thomas Nicely was booked into the Hall County Jail charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, and attempting to influence a witness.

Arrest warrants obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta state that earlier this week Nicely beat the victim before shoving her down the stairs. The woman reportedly suffered knocked out teeth, a broken wrist, four fractured vertebrae, a collapsed lung, and severe nerve damage.

Court document showed Nicely was out on bond of the previous assault charges at the time.

Nicely was booked into the Hall County Jail.
