Two Fulton County dogs rescued in animal cruelty case need new home

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Two Fulton County dogs whose owner was found guilty of animal cruelty desperately need a new home.

According to the LifeLine Animal Project, the dogs, Loki and Lennox, have been living at the Fulton County Animal Service shelter for three months, but the facility is out of space.

Officials say the shelter took the dogs in after their owner was found guilty of eight counts of animal cruelty and fined $2,000. Officials say a total of eight dogs were living in “awful” conditions under the owner’s care. Six of the eight pups were adopted, but Loki and Lennox are still waiting for a temporary of permanent home.

For the month of September, the shelter is waiving adoptions fees on all dogs and cats over 25 pounds, which includes spay, vaccine and microchop fees.
