Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Tuesday, September 24, is National Voter Registration Day. 

You'll see volunteers on the streets encouraging people to register, and increase awareness. 

Each year, millions of Americans are unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline. 

Two years ago, 800,000 people nationwide registered to vote on this day.
